Springs
Whether in torsion or extension, garage door springs are very strong, supporting about 90% of the door’s weight. That means the opener motor only has to do 1/10th of his work. For extreme conditions, we recommend durable premium products. Additionally, they do not rust and do not require lubrication. No matter which class you choose, our knowledgeable mechanics will ensure you get the right strength, size and fit.
Tip: Replace both springs, not just the broken spring. If one fails, the other is probably not far behind. Also, it can be difficult to align doors with strong new springs and old, weaker springs properly. WARNING: Do not attempt to replace nibs yourself unless you fully understand the tools specifically designed for that type of nib and how to use them.

Economy casters may require replacement after only 5,000 open/close cycles. For stays of up to 7 or 8 years, or just 2-3 years, depending on how often you enter and exit the garage.
