Lior came out on the same day we called. Our garage door is old but still in excellent condition. We had been told by another friend that the door would not need to be replaced, just the spring and the railings adjusted. Lior told us that the door itself was fine. He didn't try to sell us more than we needed. He likes to fix "old things", he said, that are better built than things are today in some cases. He took the old metal stuff away and recycled it, a big plus in my book. He was very quick, and fixed our door without any problems. He made sure we were satisfied with the work before he left.

Leo was great and fixed the springs on our garage door. He offered to come out the same day, was knowledgeable, and reasonably priced compared to other companies we were communicating with. The repair also came with a warranty. We will use him in the future, if needed.
I called Dr. Garage Door because my garage door wouldn’t open with remote or manually and I had a feeling the springs had broken (Wayne dalton system doesn’t have springs visible). Lior came out within a couple of hours from my call, explained the issue, answered all my questions and I could tell he was very knowledgeable and being fair with his proposal. He completed the job very promptly (replaced the spring system), replaced my garage door button which also hasn’t been working in some time. Our garage hasn’t been completely working for a few months now. We had someone out at the beginning of the year and they changed the rollers and brackets and it still didn’t work. Leo is an honest guy.First quote from another company I was quoted $2600 for a rip and replace everything because they "didn't know how long the spring is going to last, it might break tomorrow or 2 years from now"Leo came and told me the spring is just fine, and quoted $400 for repair with studs that will last indefinitely, and that the springs are just fine. He tuned it all up and oiled it.Paid $25 consultation and he charged me $375 for the job for total $400.I appreciate honestly, he will have my business in the future.

I hired Dr. Garage Door to turn my two car garage into a one car garage. That involved installing a beam and modifying the garage structure and then installing the door. They did a great job and worked with another contractor I had hired to time the job and the workmanship was good. Would recommend the company to others.
Fantastic company and service! Contacted the company for a quote and very quick response time to the request. Sent Leo out to take a look at the work needed and he was on time with a call ahead also before arriving. Leo was pleasant to talk to, courteous and knowledgeable about the job. I needed to switch from a double door to a single door, new hardware and motor, and replace the middle support with a wide spanning header. No small task for any company. I chose to go with them mainly for the affordable price compared to other companies but Leo was the topping on the cake. Leo arrived a few days later with his crew and knocked out the work in less than 4 hours. I expected 6-8 hours based off of what other companies had quoted but these guys were efficient and fast. The crew hauled away everything that was old, swept up after themselves and were cool to talk to as well. The service and price could not be beat in my opinion. I will definitely recommend them to anyone else who is looking for hard and honest work for an affordable price.

Dr. Garage Door Repair is the best garage door repair service in Houston. Leo came out to the house and fixed the seal at the bottom of my garage. Then he added some metal supports to to the garage door from the inside due to some recent storm damage. He then lubricated all the wheels and it made the door completely silent again. I had gotten used to the loud squeaky noise that I heard every day. Then I realized that my chevy truck has a built in remote that I never programmed and now I know why. Watching LEO set it up was extremely smooth...You need the current remote, plus the button on the back of the garage door opener, plus another combination of pushing buttons just to make it work. He did all this in the blazing heat of Houston. If you want excellent service at an affordable price !! Call and ask for LEO!
